A process I have personally been through
I have been on both sides of this. Hi, I'm Corey, the founder of Lurex Consulting. I spent 12 years running my own consulting business, and before that I spent 12 years in law enforcement, work that runs on getting the details right and doing things by the book. I have also handled government contract work, including with the City of Atlanta.
I founded and I run my own IRS-approved 501(c)(3). So the process I help you with is not something I read about. It is something I have personally been through, start to finish.
That experience is why Lurex works the way it does. I know where first-time founders get stuck, which mistakes quietly cost you months, and how much easier the whole thing feels when someone hands you a clear next step instead of a stack of forms.

How we work
Remote-first, tailored to you
Lurex is remote-first and serves nonprofit founders nationwide. You complete a short intake so the work is tailored to you, I prepare your deliverable (typically a few business days depending on the service), and you review it, own it, and get clear next steps.
I am based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, so if you are local and prefer to work in person, that is welcome too.

Let's be clear and honest about this up front, because it protects you. Lurex Consulting is a document-preparation and systems service. I prepare your nonprofit documents and organize your systems from the information you provide.
I am not a law firm, an accounting firm, or a tax advisor, and I do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. For questions that truly need a licensed attorney or CPA, I will tell you so honestly.
What I do is take the heavy, confusing paperwork off your plate, prepare it carefully, and hand it back clean, organized, and ready to use, with a plain-English explanation of what to do next.
